From what I’ve seen, there are too many myths, misunderstandings and misconceptions about exercise and training.

There are “gaps” in the understanding of strength training and what it means to optimize health and performance.

So, I designed this website to help “bridge these gaps” and share the truth about strength, performance and injury prevention.

Hey there, my name is Scott Iardella.

I’m a lifter, a coach, and a former “physio” (physical therapist) with a unique perspective on fitness.

This is NOT mainstream.

This website is for you if you want to become the BEST and STRONGEST version of yourself or help those you work with – regardless of age, gender, or experience. 

In addition to being the creator of Rdella Training®, I’m also the author of the book, The Edge of Strength.

This is a journey, my friend. You just have to decide whether you’re going to sit in the stands – or get in the game.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a newbie to the strength game or an advanced lifter or athlete.

Even though I’m an accomplished lifter who’s been training for over 30 years now, in so many ways, I’m still just beginning. That’s because I’m always a student first and I’m always evolving myself – as an athlete and a coach.

I created Rdella Training® specifically for the serious fitness enthusiast, lifter, athlete (*if you lift, you’re an athlete), coach, trainer, or rehabilitation professional.

Just to let you know, I focus on a few key areas of training.

I’m not the “jack-of-all-trades.”

Instead, I focus on the strength skills listed below.

These areas are my “wheelhouse” so-to-speak.

  • Powerlifting (And Basic Barbell Exercises)
  • Olympic Weightlifting 

These methods are built on the foundations of human movement and the qualities of strength.

I’ve experienced increased strength, power, performance, muscle building, fat loss, mobility and flexibility, high levels of health and energy, and no injuries – through these methods.

And you can too.

Once again, it’s about training stronger, smarter, and better OVER THE LONG TERM.
