Hey there, my name is Scott Iardella.

Creator of Rdella Training® and Author of the The Edge of Strength.

If you’re serious and committed to improving your physical potential through a foundation of strength, then I can help. I’ll teach you how to move better and move stronger over the long term.

This is a journey, my friend. You just have to decide whether you’re going to sit in the stands – or get in the game.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a newbie to the strength game or an advanced lifter or athlete.

You see, I’m an accomplished lifer who’s been training for over 30 years now, but in so many ways, I’m still just beginning. That’s because I’m always a student first and I’m always evolving myself – as an athlete and a coach.

I created this website (and the RT podcast) specifically for the serious fitness enthusiast, lifter, athlete (*if you lift, you’re an athlete), coach, trainer, or rehabilitation professional.

The site is designed to help you train better, stronger, and safer through my unique approach to strength training which focuses on 3 main areas:

  • Hardstyle kettlebell training
  • Powerlifting (And Basic Barbell Exercises)
  • Olympic Weightlifting (And Associated Exercises)

Can you really combine these methods?

Sure, you can.

In fact, they are very complementary to each other in many ways.

These 3 areas are what I immerse myself in and I’ve discovered that these training methods provide everything I need – and everything I want.

And for most people, they can accomplish a vast majority of health and fitness goals with one or all three or these areas.

This is NOT to say this is the only thing we should do. There are many great training methods and tools, but these areas provide the biggest “bang for the buck,” in my humble opinion.

Personally, I’ve experienced increased strength, power, performance, muscle building, fat loss, mobility and flexibility, high levels of health and energy, and no injuries – training the way I do.

Once again, it’s about training stronger, smarter, and better OVER THE LONG TERM.
