KETTLEBELL PERFORMANCE – Seminar 1
Here’s what we’ll cover in this ONE DAY comprehensive seminar:
We’ll start with the WHY – why these exercises make a big difference for any athlete or fitness enthusiast.
You’ll fully understand the benefits and proper progressions that provide the “BIG BANG” results.
MOVEMENT AND MOBILITY:
We’ll spend time covering key movement and mobility techniques that have have been successful in my own programming to set the stage for an optimal training experience.
We’ll cover specific progressions and regressions that are most common.
We’ll cover the most effective and simple movement and mobility exercises that offer the biggest benefits for most people.
You’ll be shocked at the simplicity and effectiveness with the things I cover.
I’ll share specific movement and mobility techniques to enhance training and improve results.
And, we’ll cover key principles to determine what type of movement preparation and mobility program is best for you.
BREATHING TECHNIQUES FOR PERFORMANCE:
Breathing is getting much more attention these days for a reason. Training excellence begins with proper breathing. We’ll make sure to cover the breathing essentials to optimize performance with kettlebells (or any training tool).
These techniques are invaluable to take your training to the next level, as well as train as safely as possible.
THE HIP HINGE:
We’ll start my making sure the “hip hinge” is dialed in. The deadlift iis the essential starting point to learn the hip hinge movement pattern for the kettlebell swing. We’ll cover proper mechanics and patterns to establish the movement.
RUSSIAN KETTLEBELL SWING:
We’ll spend a lot of time here.
The swing is the foundation. The Hardstyle (or Russian) kettlebell swing is one of the most effective and powerful exercises we have available for any athlete or fitness enthusiast – when it’s performed correctly.
We’ll spend a lot of time covering the 2 hand and 1 hand kettlebell swing for explosive strength, power, conditioning, and athleticism.
TURKISH GET UP:
The Turkish get up (TGU) is one of the most important and amazing exercises for any athlete, fitness enthusiast, or high performer. Frankly, it’s one of the best exercises the most people NEVER do.
We’ll dig deep to learn why this exercise is so valuable and then learn how to perform it in a systematic, step by step approach.
GOBLET SQUAT AND SQUAT VARIATIONS:
The goblet squat is a highly valuable exercise for mobility, strength, and conditioning that has a role in almost any program.
We’ll cover the key mechanical principles to maximize this exercise, as well as some other variations of the squat.
The kettlebell press is not just a shoulder exercise, but a full body lift for strength and stability.
A very effective full body exercise and a very unique press variation unlike any other. You’ll learn why at the seminar.
We’ll also cover how to PROGRAM these exercises for maximum benefit.
